It's far more of a simulation than battlefield or call of duty that's for sure. I'm not really sure what kind of simulation you expect from a game that does pretty much everything. Iron front isn't that buggy and ArmA 2 isn't really buggy either unless the only amount of ArmA 2 you've played is DayZ which is an alpha build modification that is about the most buggy thing in the world, but that's DayZ not ArmA 2. The third person mode is disabled in the options and/or on the server, for example in DayZ as you mentioned, hardcore servers remove the crosshair and third person mode, you can change this in the difficulty settings for single player as well. I don't know about the prone thing but really you're bitching about that? lolk There is sway in the scope when standing, there is in ArmA 2 as well, crouching decreases it and laying down almost completely removes it. The Zoom is there because as with Rise of flight and every flight sim or video game made, you NEED zoom to identify targets appropriately at long distances. But overall as long as you're giving them orders they're acceptable. In Iron front liberation when I say Stupid AI I mean they occasionally get stuck when driving tanks or die/become disabled before the final mission objective which makes it hard to complete alone.

AI in the I44 mod is broken for some reason, they don't respond to some commands which isn't something that I experience in ArmA 2. Overall I44(The mod) is quantity not quality whereas Liberation front(the standalone game) is quality and content over quantity.ĪrmA 2 doesn't freeze or crash for me ever, Iron front has a couple of times because of the amount of AI in missions.ĪI isn't complete crap though, ArmA 2 is meant to be about large scale battles with tanks, planes, choppers, vehicles and infantry all going at it I'd be interested to see what game you think has better AI that's able to do as much as ArmA 2's can.
